Liverpool have agreed to sign French central defender Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig on a long-term deal.
The Reds have not disclosed the fee for 22-year-old, who reportedly had a buyout clause of about £35m in his contract with the German club.
He has passed his medical and agreed personal terms, but his move remans subject to international clearance and a UK work permit.
“It’s a really exciting moment for me and my family,” Konate said.
