Vancouver, Canada (WNews)- It’s the long weekend once again which means it’s time to chase the ways of the summer days. Here’s some of the stuff happening this Victoria Day’s weekend both free and cost.

Outdoor Nature Areas:

Golden Ears Park- Maple Ridge, BC

Golden Ears is one of the best visit parks in BC Which thousands of people head to the lake and hikes. There are three camp groups that you can try to camp at. Currently on Summer HoursPrice: Free-$$ Location: North of Maple Ridge

Grouse Grind- North Vancouver

This is a staple of all of the hikes in the lower mainland which is the hardest hikes in the Mainland which will challenge you for your health. Make sure to bring water and nuts as you will need it. Price: Free but $10 for down lift from Top of the summit Location: North Vancouver’s Grouse Mountain Dates: On-going

Seawall and Stanley Park- Vancouver

One of the most popular parts of Vancouver is the seawall which links Vancouver as a whole. Walk or Bike the most popular pathway in the city. For a long and more beautiful walk, walk the side of Canada’s largest city park Stanley Park named after Lord Stanley. While on the walk, take a rest at Sunset Beach which overlooks the oceans. Cloverdale Rodeo and Fair- Surrey

Who would not want to head to one of the largest rodeos in the country? One of the must-see event of the year with fairgrounds, food and of course the rodeo events. See the bull riding events as you cheer on your favourite people. After your finish with the rodeo part head over to the rides with many rides to choose from. Richmond Night Market- Richmond

If you want to see the best of the summer nights then head to the Night Market in Richmond. One of the biggest markets with many different vendors and food choices. It’s will make you want to head back at least two more times during the summer. Enjoy snow cone, great food and more.

Playland at PNE- Vancouver

The largest fairgrounds is open all of this long weekend. Ride the classic wooden roller coaster, get head winded on the Beach Party Ride while trying to hold your own food riding on Hell’s Gate. PlayLand has something for the whole family from the small rides for the kids to the scattering rides for the brave. Location: Hastings Street near Highway OneDates: open on Weekend till June which changes to Summer Hours.Cost: See PNE.ca for details.

Indoor

Telus Science World of Science – Vancouver

This is a classic one for everyone, view and touches the world of science. Learn about the awesomeness of science at the Telus World Science.

Location: Near Main Street-Science World SkyTrain on Main Street.
