While the chance of recovery remains high, the death count, worldwide, is currently over 16,000 people. Closer to home, Canada.ca reports a total of 98,824 cases with 1,432 confirmed cases and 20 deaths. The situation remains alarming in Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, and Alberta, all reporting daily spikes in Covid-19 cases.
Covid-19 is the common enemy, and here are practical steps to stay safe and keep your loved ones safe.
- Wash your hands with soap and water.
- Stay 6 feet away from other people.
- Use your non-dominant hand to open doors and while touching any surfaces.
- Designate one family member to go out for groceries and other essentials.
- Stay home as much as possible, and avoid crowded spaces.
- Get tested if you show signs of any Covid-19 symptoms.
