Vancouver, Canada (WNews)- The first wind warning has been issued for parts of Metro Vancouver and The Fraser Valley with Winds forecast to reach 90 km/h gusts beginning this morning.

This warning is just weeks after the ‘worst storm in history’ after winds of over 100 km/h hit Metro Vancouver on December 20. That storm caused hundreds of thousands of people to lose power which some of the power outages was not resolved till New Years Day. That storm also caused major damage to the White Rock Pier which the city has just said that the pier will not reopen till late August with a estimated cost of $6 Million CAD to replace.

This storm is expected to be damaging one once again, be expected of trees coming down. If you see power lines down, stay back 10m and call BC Hydro or 911.
