Fire crews are battling a fire that broke out in a building next to the Burnaby Art Gallery on Friday morning.
Flames could be seen bursting through the roof at 5:45 a.m.
The fire was originally called in by a Burnaby RCMP police officer.
Fire crews said they believe the structure may be a storage facility belonging to the art gallery, and may contain fertilizer and chemicals.
