In a statement NYC Transit President Andy Byford said, “No transit worker, no matter what their title, should endure abuse on the job. And all transit workers, regardless of title, should be valued for the hard work they do moving millions of New Yorkers every single day. We’re thankful that this perpetrator was arrested.”
