Troubled Queens jail that once held rapper Tekashi69 to close on April 1, but NY AG says questions remain

GEO Group, which operates the Queens Detention Facility, announced earlier this month that U.S. Marshals had canceled its contract, apparently following through on President Joe Biden’s pledge to terminate private prison contracts.
