An influx of homebuyers from King County is heating up Tacoma’s housing market and changing neighborhoods, turning some into bedroom communities. The changes, driving up rents and property values, are most felt in historically diverse and low-income neighborhoods like Hilltop, South Tacoma and Tacoma’s Eastside.
