Canadian women are bringing home the hardware.
It started with a bang, with Canada winning its first medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games. The Canadian women’s 4×100-metre freestyle relay team — including swimmers Kayla Sanchez, Maggie Mac Neil, Rebecca Smith and Penny Oleksiak — raced to silver on Sunday.
Next, divers Jennifer Abel and Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu won silver together in the synchronized three-metre springboard competition.
