Australia’s former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on Twitter called the comments “contemptible” and said that Anning is a disgrace to the Senate.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced on Saturday that the government plans to censure Senator Fraser Anning due to his comments. The Conservative Coalition Government and the Labour Party agrees to pass the motion as those views have no place in Australia.

Meanwhile, A GoFundPage me was raised in support of the teen who has raised over $30,000. The teen was questioned and released by police. Mix respond has poured out online into the egging event with people saying the boy is a Hero. Others have condemned the boy for egging the political saying that he was the right to free speech.

The shooting last week killed 50 people at two mosques in Christchurch sparked new laws for gun control laws in the country. The shooting was live streamed on Facebook which sparked outrage due to the live stream of the shooting. The suspect was arrest by police and was charged with murder the following day.

Around the globe, people remember the lives that were lost by the shooting with many holding candlelight vigils. Some groups brought up the issue of worship shootings including Muslim and Christian shooting.
