Members of the Island’s fast-growing Hindu community say they’re excited to finally have a dedicated place to worship and gather, after the province’s first Hindu temple opened in Cornwall, P.E.I. on March 8. Hindus now make up nearly one per cent of the Island’s population, according to Statistics Canada.
