Northbound lanes of Coquihalla Highway closed due to rock slide

The northbound lanes of the CoquihallaÂ Highway areÂ closed 3.5 kilometres south of Merritt because of a rock slide.

A geo-technical crew is assessing the slide.

The slide closed both lanes of the highway last night, but the southbound lanes were reopened just after 5 a.m. this morning.

OPEN – #BCHwy5 is now open between #Merritt and #HopeBC . Closed NB 3.5 km south of Merritt for a rock slide.
