Burnaby RCMP says there has been a homicide in the Metrotown area of Burnaby.

A police spokesperson said the incident occurred on the 6500 block of Telford Avenue, about one block away from Metrotown Station.

The spokesperson did not say if one or more people were killed, when they were killed or how they were killed.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is investigating, the spokesperson said.
