Snowstorm leaves NYC under blanket of white, but not quite the totals expected

As of 1:45 a.m., the National Weather Service estimated that Manhattan received the worst of the storm with 6.5 inches of snowfall landing in Central Park. Greenwich Village saw the greatest precipitation of any neighborhood, with 7.4 inches.
