Small NYC theaters sue over Gov. Cuomo’s coronavirus shutdown order

Eight theaters, including the Broadway Comedy Club, Actors Temple Theater and SoHo Playhouse, claim COVID-19 regulations have been unfairly applied to their businesses while gyms, restaurants, “Saturday Night Live,” and movie theaters outside of the city have been allowed to operate.
