Convicted Long Island drunk driver who killed Boy Scout on hiking trip won’t get second trial

Thomas Murphy’s lawyer Steve Politi pushed for a mistrial last month, after four jurors filed affidavits claiming that fellow jurors had trouble keeping their mouth shut outside the courtroom about the Sept. 2018 crash.
