John Lennon fans rally to keep his killer in jail as his 10th parole hearing approaches

“If you’re going to release cop and baby killers, why wouldn’t you release a Beatle killer?” said Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis, a Republican, who ran for mayor against Bill de Blasio. “That’s the fear. If you look at the history of the most recent Parole Board, you will see dangerous murderers on the streets. The Parole Board is not balancing interests between who committed crimes and public safety.”
