Con who choked inmate to death on Rikers Island charged with murder: police

Christopher Robinson, 18, was beaten to death by a group of other inmates inside his cell. The attack was carried out by other inmates in the facility who were upset Robinson declined to join an enforcement team run by jail officers known as “the Program.”
