Former Rikers guard pleads guilty to smuggling scheme at jail complex

Former Correction Officer Joshua Alba, 30, of Queens, pleaded guilty in Manhattan Federal Court to one count of conspiracy to commit honest services wire fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
