Drunk driver who slammed stolen Jeep into police cruiser charged

Investigators charged James Cornelius, 36, with drunk driving, leaving the scene of an accident, criminal possession of stolen property and reckless endangerment for the wild June 11 night ride that ended in a blistering head-on impact with the squad car on Park Ave. South near E. 17th St. near Gramercy Park.
