Proposed 425-mile network of bike lanes would make New York an easier place to pedal, Regional Plan Association says

The Regional Plan Association on Wednesday released a report detailing its vision of a 425-mile network of protected bike paths that would change the perception that the city’s streets are death traps for cyclists. “Such a network of low-stress, continuous priority routes connecting all five boroughs would reduce intermodal conflicts, relieve roadway congestion and cut greenhouse gases,” the RPA’s report states.
