Mom dead, 6-year-old son injured after crash sends car onto Brooklyn sidewalk

The car jumped the curb and slammed into the mother and son. Sinclair’s mom, Claudette Edwards, 63, jumped to her grandson’s side, and pulled him away as she saw the car veer toward them, said Sinclair’s aunt, Jennifer Rambally. Debris from the crash injured the boy, relatives said.
