Highway 99 tunnel users won’t have to pay tolls until sometime this fall

The Highway 99 tunnel under downtown Seattle opened on Feb. 4. WSDOT, the state transportation agency, planned to begin tolling the tunnel in July, but now drivers get a few more months to drive in the tunnel toll-free.
