Fairbanks man sentenced to 12 years for attempted murder

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) — A 27-year-old Fairbanks man who fired a bullet into the chest of a man he attempted to rob has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. Justin Cavanaugh was sentenced Tuesday.
