Queens prosecutors move to dismiss charges against three men wrongfully convicted of 1996 cop killing

Queens DA Melinda Katz will ask a judge to drop the underlying indictment Friday against George Bell, 44, Gary Johnson, 46, and Rohan Bolt, 59, who had their murder convictions tossed by a judge in March for the murders of NYPD Officer Charles Davis and check-cashing firm owner Ira Epstein in a botched holdup of Epstein’s East Elmhurst business on Astoria Blvd.
