Legislature passes transparency bill to require MTA to publish more data online

“The whole idea of open data is to be proactively releasing information to the public,” said Fauss. “It’s getting away from the regime of the public needing to pull it from agencys through Freedom of Information Law requests. It’s the public’s data, so it should be available online and easy to access.”
