Man attacked by alligator

MYAKKA RIVER, Fla. – A man had only been in the Myakka River for one minute before a gator snapped its jaws around his skull.

25-year-old Jeffrey Heim said frequently dives in Florida waters, looking for fossilized Megalodon shark teeth. A commercial spearfisherman, ethically sourcing shark teeth is his passion project. But Sunday, May 30th, that passion turned into pain.
