Angels founder Curtis Sliwa suffered a possible broken jaw after being struck with a ball peen hammer and a white particle board in the melee on Broadway near Washington Place, and one of his members, Aram Sabet, was struck hard in one eye with a metal device used to break window, Sliwa told the Daily News. Both men were treated at Bellevue Hospital.
