Suffolk County police rescue NYC-area sailors from sinking boat at Fire Island

Suffolk County Police rescued two men from a sinking sailboat at Fire Island early Saturday, officials said. Police from Suffolk County’s Marine Bureau responded to a 911 call for a sinking 25-foot sailboat in Fire Island Pines Harbor, L.I. about 1 a.m., police said. (Suffolk County Police)
