Judge rejects Michael Cohen’s lawsuit seeking to trim sentence

Cohen’s suit, filed in December, also flopped because he failed to pursue his claims internally with the BOP, the judge ruled. Trump’s former bulldog attorney is completing a three-year sentence for campaign finance violations, lying to Congress, dodging taxes and other crimes at home due to the coronavirus pandemic. He says he should be a free man on May 29. The government says he’s not done until November 22.
