Ax-wielding woman goes on bizarre rampage in Manhattan, chops another woman’s leg, commandeers news shop

A disheveled ax-wielding attacker chopped a woman’s leg on an Upper East Side street Monday, April 19, 2021, then ran into a nearby apartment building and locked herself in the elevator. The bizarre scene unfolded on E. 85th St. and York Ave. in Manhattan. The attacker, who was toting a small hatchet, swung it at a woman’s shin, causing a minor cut, and took off running, police sources said. (Obtained by Daily News)
