Dog-sitter busted for dumping puppy in Long Island dumpster: cops

Thami Stafyleras, 44, of Mineola was arrested for abandonment of an animal after a 59-year-old woman found the adorable Pomsky puppy, named Louie, cowering next to the dumpster inside Captree State Park on March 15.
