Proposed N.Y. legislation would ban police tactic of lying to suspects to get a confession

State Sen. Zellnor Myrie (D-Bklyn) has sponsored a bill that would bar any police force in New York from lying to someone being interrogated — and would mandate the judicial review of any confession entered into evidence.
