FDNY firefighter dies in snowmobile crash: officials

Firefighter Carmine Barresi, 35, was operating a snowmobile on the southern end of Lake George about 4 p.m. on Thursday when he struck a dock and was thrown into the water, through a layer of ice, authorities said.
