Man charged with October murder of Bronx father of two

Detectives from the NYPD’s Violent Felon Apprehension Squad grabbed suspect Dequan Hopkins, 33, on Thursday and charged him with murder, manslaughter and weapons possession for shooting David Peart on Oct. 15.
