‘I feel bad for him’: Gas-and-dash victim’s mother reacts to 11-year sentence

Joshua Mitchell has been sentenced to 11 years for killing Maryam Rashidi in a 2015 gas-and-dash theft. Rashidi’s family members, who travelled from Iran for the court hearing, sobbed as the sentence was handed down by Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Alan Macleod.
