Severe thunderstorm warning issued for areas near Calgary, with chance of loonie-sized hail

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning in areas near Calgary.

As of 3:34 p.m. Monday, the storm was located along the Trans-Canada Highway about 145 kilometres southwest of Cochrane and was moving east at 20 km/h.
