Vancouver, BC (WNEWS) – The beautiful weather is expected to continue for the following week as high pressure is expected to bring the heat to the Lower Mainland.
Temperatures are expected to soar once again late this weekend and next week. The forecast for Monday for Abbotsford is likely to be around the 30° C mark. Some models are projecting the mid-30s for the high.
Even by the water at Sunset Beach, the temperatures are projected to be in the upper 20s, with a possibility of reaching 30° by the water.

The hot weather is expected until a transition into cooler temperatures on Wednesday.
Hot Weather Tips
- Drink water and tons of it
- Avoid the hottest temperature, which occurs from 11 am to around 4:00 pm
- If you don’t have AC or a fan, head to the mall or the movie theatre
- Head to the outdoor pool or spray park for Some fantastic fun.
This is the second hot spill in a few weeks to hit the Lower Mainland. A couple of weeks ago, the temperatures hit the mid-30s in some parts of the Valley.
