Iran rejects U.S. accusation of involvement in tanker attacks

Iran has rebuffed blame for attacks on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, and affirmed its responsibility for security in the Strait of Hormuz, where almost a fifth of the world’s oil passes, state radio reported Friday.
