Angels add slugger Justin Upton for playoff push

The Los Angeles Angels acquired slugging outfielder Justin Upton from the Detroit Tigers on Thursday, upgrading their lineup for the playoff race. The Angels sent minor-league pitcher Grayson Long to Detroit.
