Skier dies after falling off cliff into deep snow at Big White

A 60-year-old skier died Wednesday after falling nine metres off a cliff at the Big White ski resort near Kelowna, B.C.

Kelowna RCMP said the man’s body was recovered from deep snow.

Police said emergency personnel and ski patrol staff tried to revive him
