B.C.’s Manuel Osborne-Paradis announces retirement from ski racing

After spending almost two years battling back from a horrific fall that left his leg so badly mangled there were fears it might not be saved, 36-year-old Manuel Osborne-Paradis of Invermere, B.C., realized he didn’t have the fight left in him anymore to be a downhill skier.
