Scientists discover answer to 100-year-old question about cosmic rays

A team of scientists have tracked down the answer to a question that’s plagued members of their field for more than 100 years: What is the origin of high energy cosmic rays?

However, understanding what they are talking about when they use words like blazar and neutrino is a challenge in and of itself.

Luckily, CBC Vancouver meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe was on hand to translate.
