Stop-gap funding saves preschool for deaf and hard of hearing kids from closing

Deaf Children Society of B.C., which runs a preschool where deaf and hard of hearing children receive instruction in American Sign Language, has avoided the need to shut down, after receiving a share of one-time-only funding from the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
