B.C. premier to make minimum wage announcement

Premier John Horgan is set to make an announcement about minimum wage in B.C. this morning. 

He’ll be joined by Minister of Labour Harry Bains at a JJ Bean café in North Vancouver at 11 a.m. PT.

The NDP government campaigned on raising Vancouver’s minimum wage to from $11.35 an hour to $15 by 2021, though it later abandoned that deadline.
