MEXICO CITY (AP) — A strengthening tropical storm is swirling out in the eastern Pacific, while another named storm is moving across the open Atlantic. Neither Tropical storm Lane in the Pacific nor Subtropical storm Ernesto in the Atlantic poses any immediate threat to land.
