The jury has reached a verdict in the murder trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd, a 46-year-old Black man who died while being restrained by police during an arrest last May.
Chauvin, who is white, is charged with second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. The verdict is expected to be read Tuesday afternoon.
