For a first for a news company, you can report the news via text message. Yes, you read that right.
Beginning April 2, 2019, users in Canada and The US can send a text message to 1-800-WNews-21 (1-800-963-9721) to report the news.
When sending in a news report, please put in the city, your name, what is happening and your contact information for us to contact you back. You can also send in photos of the story for us to possibly use.

We accept stories on global events, local events and important issues affecting a general population.

All of your information is protected by our privacy policy and our service provider policies.
Only approved employees are allowed to access the text message and must follow strict guidelines and procedures for data collection.
Are There Any Costs?
