Victoria, BC (WNews) – The B.C Government has reported 832 new cases and five more new deaths.
The breakdown of cases, 388 new cases in Fraser Health, 310 new cases in Coastal Health, 53 new cases in Vancouver Island Health, new cases in 42 Interior Health, 39 new cases in Northern Health.
There have been 5 new COVID deaths in BC. For today total of 1,463 deaths. There are 296 people in the hospital including 79 in ICU.
Dr. Bonnie Henry – “Travel is still very high risk for all of us. This is not the time to travel. If you are in doubt this weekend just don’t go.”
Dr. Henry says today is an emotional homecoming for people and long-term care. Says immunization is high in care and the virus can still get into homes.
All people born in 1949 or earlier (72+) can now book their COVID-19 appointments with their local health authorities.
