The public will finally learn some of the details around the deadly ammonia release that killed three workers who were trying to fix the ice making equipment at the Fernie Memorial Arena last year.
Technical Safety B.C., the provincial body that regulates installation and operation of arena refrigeration plants, is set to release a report Wednesday that “will provide an overview of the incident, the scope of the investigation and key findings regarding contributing factors, as well as recommendations to prevent similar incidents from happening again.”
